These terms govern access to and use of the Venue ID Manager website, backend portal, APIs, and mobile application by venues, security companies, administrators, managers, and guards.

Use of the Service

  • Authorised users:Accounts must only be used by the individual or organisation they were created for and only for legitimate venue and security operations.
  • Accurate details:You agree to provide correct registration, venue, company, and staffing information and to keep it current.
  • Security:You are responsible for protecting credentials, controlling access to devices, and signing out or ending access when staff no longer require it.
  • Acceptable use:You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with operations, or upload unlawful or misleading material.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Compliance:Customers remain responsible for complying with privacy, surveillance, liquor, licensing, employment, and venue-entry laws that apply to their operations.
  • Patron handling:You must only scan IDs and process patron information where permitted and necessary for lawful venue management, safety, or security purposes.
  • Internal controls:Venue admins and company admins are responsible for managing users, roles, approvals, bans, and session access within their organisation.
  • Incident accuracy:Incident reports, ban records, and review outcomes should be entered honestly and used in good faith.

Availability and Changes

  • Service updates:We may modify features, interfaces, security controls, or workflows to maintain or improve the platform.
  • Interruptions:Availability may be affected by maintenance, connectivity, third-party providers, or events outside reasonable control.
  • Third-party services:Certain features may rely on external hosting, review, notification, or billing providers that are subject to their own terms and uptime.
  • Suspension:We may suspend or restrict access where necessary to protect the platform, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

Liability and Contact

  • Operational judgement:The platform supports venue decisions, but customers remain responsible for their own admission, compliance, and enforcement decisions.
  • No unlawful use:You must not rely on the service for any purpose that is prohibited by law or outside the intended venue security workflow.
  • Termination:You may stop using the service at any time, and we may terminate access for material breaches, misuse, or unpaid accounts where permitted.
